About Us

The Stratford Academy PTSA is a 501(3) charitable organization that represents Stratford Academy Johnson House and Victoria Soto School. Our school is a k-6 elementary comprised of two buildings on the same campus. Johnson hosts our 2nd-6th grade students with Soto hosting our kindergarten and 1st as well as our Pre-K program. Our Principals are Mrs. Maureen Didomenico(JH) and Dr. Karen Paul(VSS). Stratford Academy was an intra-magnet school since it’s inception until the 2018/2019 school year when it became a neighborhood school.

The PTSA mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

We accomplish this by advocating for our school and community on a local level, we also try to give back to our community when we can via clothing and food drives. We also support our students with field trip help, homework journals, folders, and much more. Our board is comprised of 6 parents, two Presidents, two Vice Presidents, one  Secretary and Treasurer.

We are an open and inclusive group, we want our families to feel included and that they can count on us. Please do not hesitate to contact us via email, text, Facebook,or even waiting in the pickup line.  The real stars of our organization are the families who give a hand, be it volunteering or selling fundraisers, we cannot function without you!
