Fundraising

Our PTSA does many different fundriasers throughout the year to support our students. This funding goes to things like homework journals, folders, field trip support, teacher crafts and family fun events.

On-going fundraising efforts:

PTSA Membership:

For every family that signs up for a membership, a portion goes to the state and national PTSA for dues and the rest become revenue for us! Membership benefits include free admission to most of our Family fun nights and a vote at PTSA meetings. Members do not have an obligation to volunteer.

Current members: 76

Johnson House School Store:

The store is open every Wednesday during the lunch block outside of the cafeteria. Students can bring in money and buy fun and functional school supplies and novelty items. The students love this event very much ! The PTSA purchases items at a wholesale price, marks them up slightly and makes a marginal amount of revenue!

5th and 6th grade committee:

Every year our 6th graders enjoy a Natures Classroom trip, class t-shirts, an end of year trip, and an end of year picnic. Our 6th graders start raising funding in 5th grade that carries over into 6th for these events. The PTSA gives if and what we can to support them, but generally the 6th graders raise the funding themselves! If you see a flyer or event that states it supports the 5th or 6th grade committee, be sure to give them a hand!

While the PTSA has many fundraising opportunities, we are always seeking in-kind and monetary donations! We are a 501(c) organization and donations are tax deductible! If you’d like to to donate, please contact us today!
